A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep, so that it can recognise the browser on a later visit. Cookies are what make sign-in, shopping baskets and audience measurement possible — and also what makes tracking across sites possible.
What this site uses
This website is delivered as static pages with no accounts, no shopping basket and no audience measurement. It sets no cookies of its own, and it loads no advertising network, no social-media widget and no analytics service that would set cookies on our behalf. There is consequently no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
One item is written, and it is not a cookie. The navigation script that lets the menus and
galleries change the address bar without reloading the page keeps its place in your browser's
session storage, under the name History.store. It records the addresses of the pages you have opened in this tab, each with a number the script uses to tell them apart — no name, nothing that identifies you, and nothing that leaves your browser. Your browser deletes it the moment you close the tab. Storage that is strictly necessary to deliver
the page you asked for needs no consent, which is why we do not ask for it.
Your browser may still hold items unrelated to us — its own cache of the images and stylesheets on this site, for instance — which are not cookies and carry no identifier.
Controlling cookies
Every current browser lets you see the cookies stored for a site, delete them, and refuse new ones, under its privacy or site-settings menu. Because this site sets none, blocking them changes nothing about how it behaves.
Links to other sites
Where a page links to an organisation outside the clinic, that organisation's own cookie practice applies once you follow the link. We have no control over it.
